I bought this device August 12 and I was only able to charge it once. Since then it has failed to take a charge and now lies useless on my desk. iLounge was suspicious of the device, and I must conclude that although the device has excellent specifications, it is unlikely to last. I would not recommend buying this device.

i ordered this april 2009 before leaving for nine months in europe doing film work. i used it weekly to recharge my itouch and was able to get several (four plus) full itouch charges before recharging it, zero problems. it’s small, lightweight, easy to hold with adapters for charging it from laptop and for attaching itouch to it to be charged. didn’t use it on iphone but outstanding results for itouch. a good buy for me.

I bought golf logx (GPS positioning) for my Blackberry Storm phone. the golf logix is good but it drains the battery after 9 holes. Thank goodness for the Imax Power-pack. It easily connects to the Blackberry and charges it fully in a very short time. Without the Power-pack the golf logx would be useles on my Blackberry. Definitely a 5 star review. The power-pack is easy to use, inexpensive, small and charges the phone quickly. A defintie buy!

I was searching for a small battery power pack that would have multiple uses. This unit fits the bill just fine. I primarily use it to charge my iPhone but I also use it for numerous USB powered devices. I have a spare Tracfone which has a USB power port. This battery charges the little phone in no time and the power rating is definitely accurate. I base this on the amount of times I am able to re-charge my iPhone. I believe the iPhone has a 1400mAmp battery and I can easily charge the iPhone four times before the power pack runs out of juice.

Due to its large capacity it does take a bit of time to charge but it really is of no consequence. I plug it in before I go to bed and when I wake up it’s good to go. The best thing about this unit is the low price. There is a product sold by Richard Solo and he charges $89 for this unit but it only has a power reserve of 2600mAmp! This IMAX unit has virtually twice the power for nearly HALF the price. This review is being written after nine months of owning the unit and it has gone through numerous charge cycles and it still seems to have the same capacity as when I acquired it. You owe it to yourself to give this battery a try. The company is great to deal with and if you have any issues it is very easy to reach customer service.
